NaviTabi App Update and OS Support Changes
Thank you for your continuous support of NaviTabi. On April 5, 2024, we released an update to our app. This update also comes with changes to the operating systems we support.
NaviTabi App Versions
- iOS: 9.0.0
- Android: 9.0.0.311
Supported OS Versions
- iOS 15.0 or later
- Android 9.0 or later
As a result of these changes, updates to the app will no longer be possible on unsupported OS versions. We encourage you to upgrade to iOS 15.0 or later, or Android 9.0 or later, to continue enjoying our app.
Update Highlights
In-App Messaging Feature
- With our new in-app messaging, users can now send text messages to each other directly within the app. We hope this feature enhances your event management experience by facilitating safe and efficient communication.
Flexible Event Participation Approval Settings
- We’ve made it possible to adjust event participation approval settings even after an event has been created, giving you more flexibility in managing your events.
BLE Beacon Support for Punching
- We now support punching at spots (checkpoints) via BLE beacons, enabling punching even in areas without GPS signal. This feature can be used alongside GPS location data.
- Note
- BLE beacon signal sensitivity may vary by device model, which could affect punch detection. Before playing, you can test the detection of nearby beacons.
- BLE beacon settings for spots can be managed in the “All Spots” section of the iOS app’s event management.
- The BLE standard is compatible with Eddystone.
Bug Fixes and Enhancements
- We’ve also made several bug fixes and minor enhancements to improve your NaviTabi experience.
