Tokyo, Japan – [October 31, 2025] – NaviTabi Inc. (Tokyo, Representative Director: Takashi Irie), a Japanese IT company specializing in GPS-based navigation and orienteering solutions, is proud to announce a new three-year cooperation with the Austrian Orienteering Federation (Orienteering Austria). This partnership aims to integrate NaviTabi’s digital navigation technologies into various areas of the Austrian orienteering community, supporting both elite athletes and newcomers to the sport.
Under the agreement, the NaviTabi app will play a key role in Orienteering Austria’s “Train with the Champions” project — an initiative designed to inspire teachers, students, and young athletes to explore the excitement of orienteering. Through NaviTabi’s mission of “bringing the fun of navigation to all people through GPS orienteering,” participants will be able to experience a more engaging and interactive approach to navigation training.
NaviTabi’s technology has already proven valuable to Austria’s MTBO (Mountain Bike Orienteering) national team, who have been using NaviTabi’s navigation platform with great enthusiasm. As part of the partnership, NaviTabi is also proud to support the team as an official sponsor, with the NaviTabi logo featured on their jerseys.
“We are thrilled to partner with Orienteering Austria and contribute to the growth and modernization of the sport,” said Hidi Yamamoto, CEO of NaviTabi Inc.. “Our goal has always been to make navigation accessible, educational, and fun — and this collaboration allows us to share that passion with even more athletes and young learners in Europe.”
This partnership represents an exciting step forward in combining digital innovation with the traditional sport of orienteering, bringing new opportunities for training, engagement, and global collaboration.
